 ADVERBS: DEGREES OF COMPARISON



Adverbs are often used to make the meaning of a verb or other adverbs to make it stronger or weaker. This is called degrees of comparison.

Understanding degrees of comparison.
There are three degrees of comparison: the positive degree is the form of an an adverb for example (he ran fast).The comparative degree is used to compare two actions for example (Kayla ran more slowly William). And....  The superlative degree is used to compare three or more. For example (we all ran fast but I ran fastest of all).
